🥰 This amazing FOLLOWERS WEEKEND will take place in Risskov, Denmark (just outside Aarhus)🥰

The event will be for only followers (⚠️ Remember a follower can be any gender😍) and it is a great chance to connect with other followers and learn from some of the greatest followers in the brazilian zouk community❤
I have had the joy to join workshops/zoukweekends with both Patrycja & Julia and WOW they dance and teach in an amazing way – AND they have a lot to give to us followers👏🌷🌟❤
Many of you already experienced Patrycja here in Risskov w. Alex De Carvalho and so many of you came with loads of positive words about Patrycja❤👏

💃 PATRYCJA will bring her floaty and light dance that is known from the polish followers combined with her strong French methodology and her unique expression🔥❤

💃 JULINHA will join with her highly precise and autonomous dance together with her detailed technical but fun approach to structured teaching🔥❤

❤ LEADERS! You are SO welcome to the parties in this weekend. Come and dance with the followers and make them shine with all they have been taught from the workshops❤ (And followers please invite the leaders so they know they are welcome for the parties😅).

– WHY A FOLLOWERS WEEKEND?🔥

As a follower in Brazilian Zouk we execute a lot of very challenging movements like spins, counterbalances, headmovements etc. To be able to execute those movements on the spot during social dance we not only need to “understand the leading” but we need to know our TECHNIQUE in detail to protect our bodies, and we need to train the technique to build muscle memory, so our body knows instinctively what to do while dancing at a party 💪🥳

At most “normal” classes, we don’t have enough time to TRAIN these difficult skills in detail. During the followers weekend in Aarhus with Patrycia and Julinha we will finally have the TIME to invest just in ourselves 🥰

We will DECONSTRUCT the important techniques into detail, have loads of time to train them and put them into our body. But we will also dedicate time to go beyond those techniques and find our UNIQUE ways to EXPRESS OURSELVES in dance!🌟❤

The physical challenge is just one part. There is also this MENTAL CHALLENGE most followers experience, comparing themselves to others: am I good enough? Are the others better than I am?
We believe that we can overcome these feelings of comparing ourselves with others when we TALK about them! Most of our time in dancing we spend with the leaders, dancing & training with them, but magical things can happen when we spend time with other followers, CONNECTING, EXCHANGING our knowledge, our fears and our wins😍

During the weekend in Risskov, we will have dedicated time to CONNECT with each other, long workshops and always breaks in between to make sure you have plenty of time to absorb as well as rest and refresh your focus🙏❤

And as always at the events in Risskov there will be a nice and cozy atmosphere where we always do our best to make EVERYONE feel welcome and seen🥰
We will also do our best to find places for people from other cities/countries to stay during the event.
AND last but not least:
We have all we need in one place which make us connect more and it almost feels like a camp; We practice and dance together, have breaks together (and cake🍰☕😋), eat in the restaurant saturday evening (voluntary & not included in the price) 🍜🥗🍕😋 and also there are baths and changing rooms in the same building🤩

– WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF THE WORKSHOPS AND HOW MANY ARE THERE?
There will be 9 hours of workshops; Julia and Patrycja each have one ws alone and the rest of the ws they will do together😍
We call the level “open level” BUT (!) starting from improver. And dont worry there will be CHALLENGES FOR ALL LEVELS ABOVE – also advanced dancers😉
