Head Movements Level 1 – Zouk Weekend in Bremen

It’s time for the head movements! They are probably one of the most characteristic elements of zouk: they are beautiful, fluent and sometimes really impressive.

In this weekend we want to introduce you into the world of the head movements. We will focus on four points:
– Learn to connect the frame with the footwork and with the headwork.
– Learn to do head movements on the spot.
– Learn to do fluent head movements keeping the regular rhythm and dancing the basics.
– Learn to dance tilted turns.

The weekend is as important for leaders as for followers and you should have at least one year experience of regular classes (please read the requirements of the event below).

=== REQUIEREMENTS ===
The head movements are not for zouk beginners. You need at least one year of weekly regular classes to go to the headwork of zouk. The basic beginner technique is important for it: how we keep connection in zouk, the structure of the body and the zouk basics are necessary.

If you are not sure of being ready for the weekend, we are organizing in May 2024 one Beginner Intensive Training in Bremen that would make you learn all the important stuff to go safely to the head movements.
