Zouk ATOMS weekend with Fernando & Olga in Brno

Fernando & Olga – founders of ZOUK ATOMS philosophy, leaders of amazing Bremen Zouk community and known organizers will be for the 1st time in Brno and will teach 8 hours of intensive workshops! 🙂

Learning about zouk atoms principles will help you significantly make your zouk dancing more creative and open more possibilities to have fun on the dancefloor.

1st WORKSHOP (2 hours)
Footwork: Exercise with the first 4 atoms
Description:
Using four different footwork patterns we will learn how to dance them in new and creative ways, learning the vocabulary and the grammar of the Zouk Atoms.

2nd WORKSHOP (2 hours)
Headwork: Connecting the frame with the footwork and the head movements.
Description:
Probably one of the biggest challenges of leading and following head movements is to understand, that the same frame is leading both, the footwork and the headwork. In this workshop we will go deeper into this idea.

3rd WORKSHOP (2 hours)
Footwork: Meeting the inverted lateral
Description:
The Zouk Atoms open a new understanding of the zouk basics with a lot of interesting possibilities. We will take a look to it, using the concept of contra body movement and the „inverted lateral“ as examples

4th WORKSHOP (2 hours)
Headwork: Inverted lateral with head movements
Description:
The Zouk Atoms follow the philosophy, that we can add head movements on the top of any footwork and do this in very different ways. After learning the „inverted lateral“ it’s time to dance it with head movements.
